Video Surveillance
A simple yet effective criminal deterrent can be added to the basic media server without fuss. Surveillance cameras
connected to a frame-grabbing card store data on an additional removable hard disk within the server. Authorized
personnel exchange hard disks at regular periods and have the stored data analyzed at security control centers
Programmed characteristics or alarm states simplify the task of data recovery. Further operational comfort is gained
if instead of the hard disk being removed, the data are simply transferred directly by wireless interface to the security
control centre.
